Retreat Name:  Yoga and the Art of Relaxation
Date Start: February 5 , 2010
Date End: February 7 , 2010
Description: Come rest, relax, rejuvenate, and have FUN through the exploration of yoga, and experience yoga nidra (the art of deep relaxation).  The heart of yogic teachings lies in the belief that a self-fulfilled person is a healthy person, free from dis-ease caused by stress and improper living habits.  The practice of yoga is designed to lead the person to an ever-increasing knowledge of herself/himself and the needs of her/his body and mind in order to achieve and maintain good physical and mental health and spiritual harmony.

Relaxation is a skill that is vital to life in the 21st Century. We will utilize periods of silence to discover and listen to that deeper voice inside.  We will also experience the connection of the mind, body, heart and spirit.  This workshop is for the new and curious about yoga to the experienced yogis and yoginis.  Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a journal and a mat or beach towel.
